we probably fix it.

We don't list every model — we list every category. If your machine is in one of these, bring it in and we'll diagnose it. Bench fee is $25 and rolls into the repair if you go ahead with the work.

The work

What a repair
actually looks like.

The shop is on Old Seward — small, bright, full of upright bags and replacement parts. These reference photos show the kind of bench work we do. If you'd like a quick walk-through before you drop yours off, swing by during shop hours.

About the shop

Most vacuums don't need to be replaced. They need a belt, a filter, a brush roll, or a person who isn't afraid to open them up.

We're independent. The phone is answered by someone with grease on their hands. Quotes are given before the work, not after. If a repair is going to cost more than half of a new machine in the same class, we'll tell you and recommend the replacement instead.

Most jobs leave the bench in three to five days. Faster if it's a belt or filter we already stock. Slower if it's a Miele part flying in from Princeton. We'll text or call before we order anything that costs you more than $40.

Frequently asked

The questions that
hit the phone
line every week.

If yours isn't here, just call.

  • Yes — V6 through V15 sticks, the older DC cylinder line, the Ball uprights. Common jobs: motor brushes, post-filter assemblies, battery pack replacements (we use OEM-spec cells, not the cheap clones), and trigger micro-switches. Drop it off any shop hour and we'll diagnose within a day or two.
